The potential of bioenergy in Ukraine is realized only by 5%. A concrete action plan is needed to overcome regulatory, technical, financial and information barriers. The EBRD and GEF program “Ukraine: Sustainable Bioenergy Value Chain Innovations” was launched in 2019 and provides solutions to problems in the development of bioenergy in Ukraine.
