The number and total capacity of biogas plants in Ukraine continues to grow
In 2020, there are 27 biogas plants in Ukraine. It is 50% more than in 2019!
The total installed electric capacity of biogas plants in Ukraine increased by 140% in 2019, reaching 66 MW el.
The electric capacity of individual projects is from 0.125 to 12 MW. Implemented projects of biogas complexes in the agricultural sector are focused mainly on the production of electricity and its sale at a “green” tariff. As of January 2020, 19 biogas projects in Ukraine have received a “green” tariff.
